Overview — 16-Inch AI Laptop Engineered for Enterprise Agility

The HP EliteBook 8 G1i AI fuses big-screen productivity with next-generation silicon, fortified security and responsible manufacturing. At its core lies the Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 256V (8 cores, 8 threads, up to 4.8 GHz) enhanced by an on-die Intel® AI Boost NPU and Intel® Arc™ Graphics—swiftly accelerating Microsoft 365 Copilot, Adobe Firefly, live-captioning and zero-lag translation while conserving battery power. A swift 16 GB LPDDR5x memory subsystem and 512 GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD shred project timelines, powering simultaneous VMs, 4K edits and data-dense dashboards.

Wrapped in precision-milled Glacier-Silver aluminium and weighing from 1.77 kg, the EliteBook is MIL-STD-810H tested yet certified ENERGY STAR® and TCO. The expansive 16-inch WUXGA multitouch IPS display (1920 × 1200) delivers 11 % more vertical workspace than FHD, 300 nits brightness and 62.5 % sRGB coverage—ideal for code reviews, CAD schematics and multimedia storyboards.

Connectivity breaks every bottleneck: Intel® Wi-Fi 7 BE201, Bluetooth 5.4, optional 5G WWAN, dual Thunderbolt 4, a third USB-C 10 Gb/s port and HDMI 2.1. HP Wolf Security, Sure Start Gen 8 self-healing BIOS, and HP Tamper Lock harden firmware, OS and hardware end to end—backed by a 3/3/3 Next-Business-Day On-Site warranty and fast fulfilment from 7stores.au.

Why Buy — Five Strategic Advantages

1. AI-Optimised Silicon — Intel® NPU off-loads generative workloads, freeing CPU/GPU horsepower and extending runtime for all-day engagements.

2. Touch-Enabled Big Canvas — 16″ WUXGA multitouch panel supports digital inking, pinch-zoom and rapid context switching on complex spreadsheets.

3. Future-Proof I/O — Dual TB4 (40 Gb/s), extra USB-C, HDMI 2.1, Wi-Fi 7 and 5G readiness guarantee peak performance in any hybrid office.

4. Executive Collaboration — 5 MP IR AI webcam, Poly Studio-tuned speakers and AI noise suppression ensure boardroom clarity from airport lounges.

5. Sustainable & Secure — 25 % PCR plastics, 80 % recycled metal and 100 % recyclable packaging meet ESG goals while Wolf Security slashes breach risk.

In-Depth Performance

The Core Ultra architecture’s tri-engine design routes scalar code to CPU cores, graphics to Intel® Arc™ EUs and AI inference to the NPU—reducing power draw by up to 40 % versus prior generations. Paired with a 62 Wh Long-Life battery and a 65 W USB-C slim adapter (50 % charge in 30 minutes), the EliteBook sustains trans-continental flights without reaching for a wall socket.

A spill-resistant, back-lit HP Premium Keyboard (with numeric keypad) boosts data-entry speed, while the precision glass clickpad enables effortless multi-gesture navigation in Windows 11 Pro. HP Manageability Integration Kit allows IT teams to image, patch and audit fleets remotely, and tool-less base access speeds SSD swaps when projects escalate. Deploy through 7stores.au for rapid delivery, asset tagging and flexible finance that lower total cost of ownership.
