D-Link 18-Port Fast Ethernet PoE+ Switch with 8 Long Reach 250m Ports – High-Power, Cost-Effective Networking for Surveillance, VoIP & Wireless

Introducing the D-Link 18-Port PoE+ Switch with 16 PoE Ports, including 8 Long Reach PoE ports supporting up to 250 meters, this powerful and compact rackmount-ready switch is engineered for efficient deployment in demanding environments such as IP surveillance systems, enterprise Wi-Fi setups, VoIP communication networks, and other PoE-enabled infrastructure. Designed with scalability, durability, and security in mind, this switch delivers robust performance and professional-grade network reliability.

Equipped with 16 Fast Ethernet PoE+ ports and 2 Gigabit combo uplink ports, the switch combines legacy device compatibility with high-bandwidth uplink connectivity. The PoE+ support (IEEE 802.3af/at) allows up to 30W per port, backed by a total PoE budget of 150W, ensuring reliable power delivery to IP cameras, wireless access points, or other connected PoE devices.

What makes this switch stand out is its 8 Long Reach PoE ports, which allow both power and data to be transmitted up to 250 meters—over double the typical 100m limitation of standard Ethernet—making it ideal for extended environments like carparks, campuses, or warehouses. With built-in 6kV lightning surge protection, it’s engineered to withstand harsh electrical conditions and ensure device protection and continuity.

Advanced smart features like VLAN, QoS, Extend Mode, and PoE Reset enable administrators to prioritize bandwidth, isolate traffic, or reboot devices remotely—without needing full Layer 3 management. Housed in a metal rackmountable chassis with internal power supply, this switch provides quiet, fanless operation and robust long-term performance in professional installations.
